The opportunity
Legal invoices must satisfy structured billing requirements and client-specific Outside Counsel Guidelines. Problems discovered late create rework, delayed collections, reductions and avoidable disputes.
The product boundary
DRE is designed to validate the transaction and governing context, resolve hard-rule issues deterministically, quarantine semantic ambiguity for repeated consensus review and prepare an evidence-rich recommendation for human disposition.
Why legal first
Pre-billing offers a narrow, measurable entry point where explainability and authority matter. Future high-compliance applications remain possible, but the current product language stays legal-first.
Investment evidence sequence: focused legal-billing problem → implemented processing foundation → working demonstration → external customer evidence → enterprise hardening → repeatable commercial deployment.
Claim discipline
The current materials describe design intent and synthetic examples. They do not establish production deployment, customer adoption or realized financial outcomes.
